A mother of three girls who had allegedly encouraged her 17 year eldest daughter to engage in prostitution was remanded by the Kekirawa Magistrate and District Judge Srinith Wijesekera who ordered police to hand over her three daughters to the care of the Probation and Child Care Services Department.

Kekirawa Police producind the suspect in Court submitted that she was arrested following investigations into a complaint made by the Kekirawa Divisional Secretary through the Anuradhapura District Secretary.
