Student hospitalized after being ragged

An Art Faculty student entrant to Peradeniya University was hospitalized yesterday after being ragged by senior students.

The student was admitted to Peradeniya Teaching Hospital traumatized after being a victim of severe ragging by the University's senior students, said Kandy Police.

The student's parents have lodged a complaint with the hospital that the

raggers have severely tortured their son, both mentally and physically.

No suspects have been arrested by the police so far.
