In line with the Education Ministry's e-learning program, moves are under way to introduce modern communication technology to the education sector, Education Minister Susil Premajayanth said.

The Education Ministry will introduce modern teaching facilities to 712 Pirivenas through communication technology which comes under the e-learning system.

The Government of the People's Republic of China will provide Rs. 1,000 million for the program.
