Ministers meet Maha Sangha
Export Development and International Trade Minister, Prof. G.L.
Peiris and Justice and Law Reforms Minister, Milinda Moragoda had
discussions with Maha Sangha comprising the Maha Sangha Advisory
Committee of the Justice Ministry, on issues relating to the GSP+
facility and development of the economy.
At this meeting, the Mahanayaka Theras informed the Ministers to
continue the discussions with the European Union on the extension of the
GSP+ facility which will benefit Sri Lanka and Minister Peiris informed
them that the President has appointed a committee consisting of four
Ministers for the purpose and that discussions were held with the
relevant authorities for the extension of the facility.
Maha Sangha who took part in the discussion were Amarapura Maha
