Indian, Lankan Navies to conduct joint exercise

The Sri Lanka Navy will conduct a joint sea training exercise with Indian Navy ships in the Western sea coast today.

The Indian ships Krishna, Varna and and Sardhil will join the training exercise 'Cadex 09' with the SLN ships including Sayura.

Navy spokesman Captain D.P.K. Dassanayake said the routine naval training exercise in the Western sea will be conducted from October 6 to 8.
