MCCIA delegation visits FCCSSL

A high-level trade delegation from Mahratta, India led by Maharatta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) President Mukesh Malhotra was in Sri Lanka for three day visit which included six leading entrepreneurs from six Indian Trade Organizations who are members of the MCCIA. The organizations represented were Weikfield Products Co. Ltd, Accurate Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd, Gits Food Products Pvt. Ltd, KPIT Cummins Info Systems Ltd and Pushkaraj Group of Companies.

The Indian trade delegation visited the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) and signed an MoU to strengthen bilateral trade and investment for the benefit of their members and to facilitate realization of strategic partnerships and to exploit trade opportunities and to promote economic cooperation in a mutually beneficial manner.

They also invited FCCISL to lead a strong trade delegation to “Pune Expo 2009” - one of the largest trade exhibitions in India which is not segment specific, not only to display products and technologies but also for collective marketing and collaboration opportunities.
