Cycling Carnival in Trincomalee a success
Ministry of Nation Building along with the Mountain Biking
Association of Sri Lanka conducted an cycling Carnival in Trincomalee
specially to the masses who use the bicycle to pay their respect towards
it.

standard event receiving his award from Minister for Nation

and Commissioner. |
While doing so the Association also took steps to conduct races for
different categories of who use the bike for their living. They were to
compete attired in their uniforms for this competition. Which attracted
the eyes of all present to witness these events on this day.
In addition they also held a standard cycle race for students of
Trincomalee District. The riders who finished upto 15 were selected to
undergo training. They will be trained to ride racing bikes with the
intention of absorbing them to form a national pool in preparation for
the future cycling events.
The Association and the Ministry of Nation Building will continue
this exercise this in all other districts too to find new talents for
the future. The 15 riders selected to undergo training from the
Trincomalee District are as follows.
