Kumara pilots Joes to victory

Paceman Chaturanga Kumara captured six wickets for 56 and hit a fighting unbeaten half century to help St. Joseph's College pull off a thrilling four wicket outright victory over Isipatana College in their inter school under 19 cricket tournament opening fixture concluded at the BRC ground in Havelock Park yesterday.

Neomal wrecks Dharmapala

Leg spinner Neomal Wickremasekera snapped up four wickets for 31 to help S. Thomas' College dismiss Dharmapala MV for a modest 146 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match which began at Mount Lavinia yesterday.
