NKorea, SKorea to sign agreement

SKorea: South Korea and North Korea are expected to sign an agreement to build a nursery school in the industrial park operating in Kaesong, North Korea, official sources announced here Tuesday.

Construction work will begin soon to be concluded by the end of this year, noted a spokesman from the Unification Ministry.

Both parties agreed on the need for this project given the very high number of women working in this facility and the resulting effects on productivity.

Construction is estimated to be worth over $747,000 while its functioning cost, including electricity and food, will be shared between the two countries.

This announcement is added to other decisions related to the park, with 114 South Korean companies involved. Seoul, Prensa Latina
