Virtusans embark on their photography journey, Silver Pixels
Virtusa, the first IT company in Sri Lanka to launch a digital
photography competition for its employees, announced the completion of
the judging of its third 'Silver Pixels' competition, by two of Sri
Lanka's venerated photography icons, Dominic Sansoni and Mithra
Weerakoon. This year's 'Silver Pixels' theme is 'agility and clarity
through simplicity' and the competition that began three months ago had
over fifty Virtusans submitting photographs. The Silver Pixels
exhibition will be held at Lionel Wendt's Harold Peiris Gallery from
September 24 to 26.

The judges were greatly impressed by the diversity of images and said
that the standard of photography was outstanding. The digital images and
prints submitted covered many aspects of photography from great timing,
precision lighting and focussing to clever ideas and effects.
"Silver Pixels strives to promote a healthy passion for pursuing
hobbies while discovering talent among staff, helping them to obtain a
work life balance" said Ishan Dantanarayana, Senior Director, Human
Resources Virtusa Corporation, Sri Lanka speaking on the competition.
The award winning pictures are reproduced in a special coffee table
edition and distributed among all Virtusa global offices.
The exhibition offers photography and art lovers a unique opportunity
to witness the works of Virtusa's budding photographers and to
experience the world through their eyes. The compositions are available
at affordable prices.
