Renowned teledrama director Nalan Mendis of Doo Daruwo, Nadaya,
Sathpura Vesiya and Nadayo fame had directed a new teledrama titled Oba
Kawuda. The story revolves around a quest for trust, love and beauty of
life and comes to the audience on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Fridays on ITN at 9 p.m.
The cast comprises of Irangani Serasingehe, Himali Sayurangi, Jagath
Chamila, Roshan Pilapitiya, Dharshani Thivanka, Lakshman Mendis,
Chandani Seneviratne, Sampath Sri Roshana, Sumith Ratnayake, Madhu
Nithyani, Ajith Lokuge, Kumar Atthanayake, Upul Weerasinghe, seethe
Kumari and others.
Indika Ferdinando scripted the screenplay of the story which is
produced by Lasith Perera.
The cameraman is Manoj Ranasinghe. Tharaka Adhikari is the make up
artist and the art director is Akuramboda Piyatissa,. The editor is
Thilanka Bandara and the music is by Rohana Weerasinghe.
Deepika Priyadharshani Peries has rendered her voice for the theme
song of the teledrama which is penned by Bandula Nanayakkarawasam.
Ranjan Saliya and Shanika Sumanasekara also contribute to the background
vocals.
Bhasuru is in love with the art scene. He meets Sara who is suffering
from a deadly disease. What will be their plight? Will life be kind to
