Sangakkara to be felicitated

Sri Lanka New Test Cricket Captain Kumar Sangakkara will be felicitated by his Club NCC today, the 14th of August, 2009 at the Club House at 7.30 p.m. onwards followed by a Cocktail Party.

Kumar has not forgotten his past as he has invited his former Cricket Coaches to be present on this occasion. They are Upananda Jayasundera (the writer) who coached him at the under 13 level at Trinity College, Harold Ranasinghe, the under 15 Cricket Coach at Trinity, Bernard Perera, his 1st XI coach at Trinity and Sunil Fernando, the Central Provincial Cricket Coach.
