Thomians in two wins

S. Thomas' College Mt. Lavinia recorded two victories in their Division I second round cricket matches played recently. They beat Sri Rahula College Katugastota by eight wickets and Royal College Panadura by nine wickets.

Kavindu Perera scored 53 n.o. to steer Thomians to victory

Sri Rahula: 101 (Nuwan Perera 29, Neomal Wickramasekera 5 for 28)

S. Thomas': 102 for 2 (Kavindu Perera 53 n.o., Sachin Peiris 38 n.o.)

Nine wicket win

Kavindu Perera (77 n.o.) and Brian Dharmasena (72 n.o.) scored half tons to guide Thomians to a nine wicket win over Royal College Panadura in the other match played at Panadura Esplanade.

Royal: 154 for 9 (Thilina Prabhath 57, Ravindu Ashan 26, Neomal Wickramasekera 3 for 33, Nilaksha Fernando 2 for 27)

S. Thomas': 156 for 1 (Kavindu Perera 77 n.o., Brian Dharmasena 72)
