The Board of Directors and Staff of the Gajashakthi Security Service
(Pvt) Ltd have donated one day's salary for the Api Wenuwen Api Fund
recently.
Accordingly, Rs. 1.3 million comprising a day's salary of the staff
and security officers and an equivalent amount from the company funds
was donated to the Api Wenuwen Api housing fund to show their gratitude
towards war heroes who made their supreme sacrifice to save the
motherland by defeating the LTTE.
The donation was officially handed over to Defence Secretary
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa by Chief Executive Officer of the Gajashakthi
Security Service (Pvt) Ltd, Brigadier (Retd) Tissa Tillakaratne at a
function at the Defence Ministry.
Manager (Operations) Major (Retd) Krishan Silva and Senior Security
Officer S.S. Wijesuriya representing the staff and the Security Officers
respectively were also present at the occasion. |
