Abans launches new LG 'Health Plus' products

Building on its expertise in health-oriented technology, LG Electronics Inc. of Korea (LG) launched its ground-breaking 'Health Plus' campaign with the slogan 'Caring for your Health in Every Way'.

With LG Health Plus appliances, consumers can foster healthy lifestyles in every aspect of home living, such as cooking and eating, clothing, and keeping the home clean.

Leading the LG Health Plus range of products is the innovative Green Ion Door Cooling Refrigerator. 'Door Cooling System', for which only LG has an international patent, has vents on the interior door panel as well as the sides of the cabinet which allows cool air to be replenished faster every time the refrigerator is opened and closed. This speeds up the cooling process and shuts off the compressor quicker with huge savings on electricity.

To reinforce its already efficient energy saving and innovative Door Cooling Refrigerator, LG has introduced another unique feature for retaining enhanced food freshness. Green Ion Technology uses a ventilation system coated in catechins, a green tea extract, to deodorize the refrigerator. This, combined with a negative ion generator, kills food-spoiling bacteria and fungi, effectively resulting in 5.7 times less fungi after seven days compared to conventional models. The green catechins keep food fresh two and a half times longer than normal refrigerators.

In line with the Health Plus campaign, LG Electronics has introduced products that incorporate healthy features and are designed to reduce allergens that are difficult to remove, often at times requiring other specialized products and solutions designed for the task.

This is contrary to the misconception that regularly doing laundry and vacuuming carpets is good enough to eliminate allergens.

LG Air Conditioners are now more than just a cooling devices. A powerful filtration process together with a sterilized ion generating system provide fresher and cleaner air, promoting a healthier home environment free from viruses, bacteria, dust microscopic contaminants, house mites, pollen, pet fur and hazardous substances floating in the air which relieve and help allergy and asthma sufferers.

LG's Steam Tromm Washing Machines, are the world's first washing machines using innovative steam technology. Available in front-loading washing machines it allows steam to penetrate clothes more quickly because steam particles are smaller than water particles, while heat eliminates allergens completely, the cause of allergy related illnesses.

With LG's Steam Technology, users spend less time and effort on laundry and ironing as it removes wrinkles and odours in just a 20-minute steam spray cycle. It also uses less energy and water compared with traditional washers. In addition, it comes with a tub cleaning feature that sanitizes the inner and outer tub with high temperature water, eliminating residual germs and odours.

The LG Health Plus range of products, designed to provide greater comfort and convenience and save more time and energy, consists of many more unique products such as Dish Washers, Microwaves, In-Build Appliances and Ovens which could be viewed at Abans Showrooms islandwide. Now available on interest free easy payment terms to suit every budget.
