Tharindu guides NTB to victory
Tharindu Ariyawansa superbly led Nations Trust Bank PLC 'A' to emerge
winners in the first ever Mercantile Softball Cricket 'Sixes' conducted
by the newly formed, MSCA at the Shalika Ground last Saturday. Sixty
four teams participated in this inaugural tournament, consisting 63
matches simultaneously conducted on four pitches.
In the final played in the fading light, NTB 'A' beat Edna Chocolates
by three wickets.
Semi final: NTB 'A' 65 for 2 beat GP Shipping 57 for 5.
Edna Chocolates 66 for 3 beat DHL 49 for 5.
