Rugby Referees threatened

Three senior referees of the Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Referees which has been suspended by the Interim Committee of the SLRFU are alleged to have threatened referees from Up Country who had come to Colombo to officiate in the Under 18 Ten-a-side rugby tournament worked off at the Royal Sports Complex, Colombo on August 8 and 9.

However the referees from Up Country had ignored the threats and officiated in the tournament to the satisfaction of all.
