Anuradhapura renal unit gets 12 kidney beds

The Anuradhapura National Hospital's Renal Unit has received 12 kidney beds for patients suffering from kidney failure.

Youth Empowerment and Socio Economic Development Minister Arumugam Thondaman has allocated Rs. 1.3 million for the welfare of these patients.

This provision was made on a request made by Chairman of the Renal National Unit Dr. A.M.L. Beligaswatta who made a request to the minister to assist patients. The Minister donated these beds at a function held at the Anuradhapura National Hospital Renal Unit recently.
