UNP doing elections from Colombo - Rajitha

Construction and Engineering Services Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne yesterday said the UNP's election campaign for the forthcoming Uva Provincial Council election is carried out by Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe from Colombo. He said Wickremesinghe is engaged in a futile effort to win the election by conducting press conferences from his office.

"The UNP has for the first time resorted to such a low level that it has faced difficulty in meeting with the people at grassroot level in the Uva province. Tourism Minister Nandana Gunathilake also spoke at the press conference.
