Central Province to construct two stations in Jaffna

It is the responsibility of the Government to upgrade the standards of war heroes who rescued our Motherland from LTTE, Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayaka said.

"Measures have been taken to reconstruct stations in the Yal Devi route from the South to North while the Provincial Secretariat of Central Province is engaged in the construction of Meesalai and Elephant Pass Stations.

An investment of Rs.4.2 million will be made on this under the Senehase Totupola program," he said. He said that the Provincial Secretariat of the Central Province has taken actions to uplift the living conditions of the family members of war heroes in the Central Province.
