Kabaddi officials elected

The Amateur Kabaddi Federation which was under an Interim Committee saw the elections held to elect officials for the ensuing year. All officials were elected uncontested with Sabaragamuwa Chief Minister Maheepala Herath as its President.

The other officials elected for the year to hold office are Vice Presidents Jayantha Wickramaratne (IGP), Brig. A.M.M. Ambanpola, Wing Comdr. K.R.A. Ranasinghe, H.U.D. Hettiarachchi (Captain Navy), M.S.S. Sarath Guneratne, S.P. Samarasekera, Secretary M.J. Fernando, Asst. Secretary Upul Kithsiri, Treasurer Vijaya Sathyajith Kularatne, Asst. Treasurer M. Anura Wijesinghe.
