The Sri Lankans are on course for a series
clinching win at the end of the first day of the Second Test against
Pakistan at the P.Sara Oval, yesterday.After the Pakistani batsmen
gave a weak kneed display to be bundled out for 90, the Lankan
batsmen gave a lesson on how to consolidate and play themselves into
a position of strength by making 164 for three a lead of 74 with
seven wickets and four more days remaining in this five day Test
match.

Fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekera attributed his
success to sheer hard work and commitment after he had helped Sri
Lanka skittle out the touring Pakistan team to their lowest total on
the opening day of the second Test match which commenced at the P.

Colombo Tennis Championships from July 18
The 94th Colombo Tennis Championships, organised
and conducted by the playing section of the Sri Lanka Tennis
Association, will be held from July 18 to August 09 at the SLTA
Courts Green Path. This forthcoming tournament is being sponsored by
