CIM Graduation Ceremony

The annual Graduation Ceremony and Membership Investiture of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Sri Lanka region will be held on July 16 at the BMICH.

The CIM Graduation Ceremony is not only a significant event in the academic calendar of the Institute but also a momentous occasion for the marketing fraternity of the country when a group of new qualified professionals join the profession.

CIM Sri Lanka Region will be having the Dean of the Academic Senate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK Prof. Caroline Tynan, as the Chief Guest and Director, International Labour Organization Ms. Tine Staermose, as the keynote speaker the event.

Around 203 diplomates who had completed the CIM professional postgraduate diploma in Marketing in the June and December 2008 examinations, including four Apparel Marketing diplomates, will receive their awards.

The Institute has produced two graduates from the Maldives in continuing with its endeavour to develop the marketing profession in the region. 28 students, including three world prize winners, will be recognized for their special achievements.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing is also committed towards the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of its members.

This year, 107 passed finalists who have completed the CPD program will be invested with membership status, while six senior members will be conferred with Fellowship status in recognition of their contribution towards excellence in the profession.
