Hand grenade explosion

A house was damaged by a hand grenade explosion at W.G.R. de Soysa Mawatha, in Negombo on Tuesday night, Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera said. He said an unidentified suspect arrived on a motorcycle lobbed a hand grenade towards a house located in the Sera Garden around 10.40 p.m. and fled from the area.

"The house was partially damaged but no injured was reported by the hand grenade attack," he said.

Negombo Police are investigating.
