Religious ceremonies at 9,838

Daham Pasalas on June 21

Religious ceremonies to invoke blessings on the President, Defence Secretary, Security Forces Chiefs, IGP and Civil Defence Director General and all war heroes and transfer merit on departed war heroes will be held at all 9,838 Daham Pasalas in the country on June 21 at 8 a.m.

The program will also include a lecture to honour and pay tribute to war heroes.

This follows a decisions taken by the Samastha Lanka Shasanarakshaka Bala Mandalaya, said the Department of Buddhist Affairs in a press release yesterday.
