Lions in Ambalantota

Lions will be brought to the semi completed safari park at Ridiyagama
Ambalantota towards the end of November.
This was revealed at a meeting held at Hambantota by the Sports and
Public Entertainment Ministry Secretary S. Liyanagama.
He said this would be the first ever safari park in Sri Lanka. It is
a 500 acre park that will be built at a cost of Rs. 50 million. All the
tanks that come under the purview of the safari park will be renovated
while new tanks will be set up. |
