AIS in 76-42 win over CIS

The Asian Internatoal School (AIS) beat Colombo International School (CIS) by 76 points to 42 in the under 17 inter-school “B” Division basketball tournament Semi-final matches played at D.S. Senanayake College yesteday.

At half time AIS led 37 to 18 points. The leading secores for AIS were Akeel (20) and Ahook (16) points. Sven (09) and Zabith (8) were the main scorers for the Colombo Internatioal School (CIS).

In the other match D.S. Senanayake College basketball beat St. Anthony’s basketball by 68 points to 26 in the same tournament. At half time St. Anthony’s basketball were trailing by 16-35.

Ravi Raj (12) and Nafeel Jaladeen (10) excelled for D.S. Senanayake College basketball. The St. Anthony basketball team’s top scores were I. Hapuarachchi (08) and Malinda (04).
