The Palestine-Sri Lanka Association for Friendship and Co-operation has congratulated President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the valiant Forces for liberating Sri Lanka from the terrorists after 26 years.

“Considering your long-standing, consistent and dedicated support to the just struggle of the Palestinians, we feel very happy that you have achieved a great victory by defeating the world’s most deadliest terrorist organization that had the support of the western media and the drug and arms mafia cartels.”

“While gratefully appreciating your support for the Palestinian cause please consider that Palestinians are with you and you continue to live in the hearts of all Palestinians. Also Palestinians will be with you in all your future struggles.”

“Finally we wish you and the people of Sri Lanka great success in all its endeavour in the building of a peaceful and prosperous country,” Convenors Mahmoud Abdullah and Yaru Abdullah said in a letter to the President.
