Samson Premaratne, Past Antonian Sportsman and a former P.O.G. of St. Anthony's College, Kandy, has been appointed as the Prefect of Games of Greenwood College, Ambatenna.

Samson Premaratne had the distinction of playing for the Antonion 1st XI Cricket Team in 1956 which was captained by his elder brothers W. Premaratne, the first 'Daily News Schoolboy Cricket of the year.

Premaratne captained the 1958 Antonian Soccer Team. At Greenwood College, he will team-up with the writer, a former Dharmaraja Cricket Captain, as the Cricket Coach and with Kalu Perera as the Rugger Coach, a former, Kandy Sports, Navy, Up-country and Presidents XV Ruggerite.
