Variety of events at State institutions today

The Government has organized a variety of events at State institutions today to mark the liberation of the entire nation from the clutches of LTTE terrorism and to honour the valiant Forces who paved the way for the victory. Accordingly, the Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry has informed all Government institutions through a circular to hoist the National Flag and play the National Anthem at 9.30 a.m.

Following this all State institution heads are to address their employees on the subject of liberating the nation and the sacrifices made by heroic Security Forces personnel in achieving this objective.
