Ranaviru felicitation ceremony tomorrow

A colorful felicitation rally to honour the heroic security forces who liberated the nation from the clutches of terrorism, would be held at the Parliamentary grounds tomorrow, May 22 under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The felicitation rally organized by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party along with it's allies in the UPFA would start from Campbell park in Borella around 1.00 pm and would proceed to the Parliament grounds from there. According to SLFP sources, the main meeting is scheduled to begin around 2.30 pm with the organizers expecting more than 500,000 people to be in attendance.
