Kotte Big Match today

The annual inter school Big Match between the traditional rivals S. Thoma's College Kotte and Sri Jayawardenapura MV will be worked off today and tomorrow at the NCC grounds in Maitland Place.

Both teams have performed extremely well this season and a closely contested Big Match is expected with many talented players taking the field.

The main attraction will be on St. Thoma's College skipper Michael van Hoff who hammered a record breaking mammoth 356 runs to become the highest ever individual scorer in an inter school match.

Belvoir-Leighton clash tomorrow

The third annual cricket big match encounter between Belvoir College International and Leigjton Park International School will be held on Saturday March 21 at Colts Cricket Club grounds, commencing at 9.00 a.m.

The match will be a 40-over match and on both previous years Leighton Park recorded wins.

Belvoir is captained by Sajith Danuka Seneviratne while Leighton Park is captained by Shabir Nawaz, both third year colourmen
