Mifras - a promising cricketer

Mohamed Mifras Moujood, a student of Madina National School, Madawala Bazaar is a budding cricketer who has excelled in the under-13 inter-school leather ball cricket tournament held recently.

He displayed exceptional batting performances in several matches.

Mifras scored 135 runs in 130 balls in the cricket match held against Zahira College, Gampola at the Madina National School ground. He added a partnership of 210 runs for the third wicket. He scored 73 runs against Nugawela Central College and 38 runs against Gannoruwa Ranabima Royal College in the matches played at the respective school grounds.

Also, he scored 28 runs not out against Royal College, Colombo at the Royal College ground, Colombo and scored 61 runs not out against St. Mary's College, Chilaw at St. Mary's College ground.

Mifras who captains his college under-13 cricket team is also the wicket-keeper and the opening batsman of the team.
