Police Seva Vanitha Unit raising funds for pre-schools

The Police Seva Vanitha Unit led by its President Anoma Goonetileke Wickremaratne has organized several events to raise funds for the unit in order to assist several Pre-Schools maintained by the Police Seva Vanitha Unit.

The first event was held in Colombo, at the Field Force Headquarters Grounds on February 14 to treat people who need medical care.

The second one will be held on February 21 at Anuradhapura. The Police Seva Vanitha Unit had arranged to give gifts and food parcels to needy persons in the three Forces and the Police in the Anurdhapura Police area.

The third event, a musical show will be held at the BMICH, to assist disabled soldiers and police personnel. The Police Seva Vanihta Unit consists of Shanthi Shanker, Jayanthi Wijetileke, Samantha Pinidiya, Jayanthi Kumari Ekanayake, Dharsani Wegodapole, Asha Balasuriya, Kanthi Perera, Sybil de Silva, Prasathi Fernando and Rose Silva.
