Youth Empowerment and Socio Economic Development Minister and the General Secretary of Ceylon Workers’ Congress, Arumugam Thondaman has mooted a project aimed at strengthening the upcountry youths’ living condition at national level by promoting self-employment.

The Minister offered interest-free loan facilities amounting to Rs. 100,000 to 76 youth to initiate self-employment at a ceremony held at Hatton Luxmi Mahal recently.
