Sri Lanka champs in eight nation Korean cricket tournament

Sri Lanka emerged as the hardball cricket champions in a tournament conducted by the Korea Cricket Association in association with the International Cricket Council.

This was the first time the Sri Lankans who beat the Pakistani team in the finals emerged champions.

The Sri Lankan cricket team thanked the Sri Lankan Embassy in Korea and the Ambassador for the support and encouragement given to the Sri Lankan wining cricket team especially since the team consisted of all full time migrant workers which was a unique feature vis-a-vis the Sri Lankan team.
