I am the ideal dictator, says SB

The country needs a dictator and I am the ideal person to the job, said Central Province UNP Chief Ministerial candidate, S. B. Dissanayake addressing a media briefing held at Janaki Hotel, Kandy recently.

He said, his dream is to be the President of this country, and his being elected as Chief Minister would be the stepping stone to reach the target. He reiterated, he would never by-pass his leader Ranil Wickremesinghe on his mission to become the President. Referring to his prison life, he said he is happy to be the Chief Minister. "We should not forget it was Chief Ministership that paved the path to Chandrika to become the President," he said.

He said he is happy over the achievements of our Security Forces. "Premadasa was finally assassinated by the LTTE.

Chandrika had a narrow escape. If Prabhakaran is not willing to share power, then terrorism ought to be crushed," he said.
