ICASL -registration date extended

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) national accounting body has extended its registration date up to the January 16 for the Foundation exam to be held in March 2009.

In addition the examination application closing date for the March 2009 examination has also been extended till January 30 in view of releasing A/L results last week and to provide opportunity for the students to join Sri Lanka's largest professional accounting body with a current 29,500 student base, enabling them to be a Chartered Accountant which is recognized globally. An official of ICASL commented that this privilege is only given for the students who sat for the advanced level examination in 2008.
