Perera wins shuttle gold

Upananda Jayasundera -Kandy Sports Spl. Corr.

Rakitha Perera of Ananda College, Colombo won the Gold medal coming first at the 37th Junior National Badminton Championship held at the Royal College Sports Complex recently.

Lahiru Ambeypitiya was also of Ananda College, Colombo was second and won the silver medal.

Damitha Yatawara of DS Senanayake, Colombo was placed 3rd and won the Bronze medal.

P. K. Hettiarachchi of Dharmaraja College, Kandy was fourth.
