Meanwhile, the GCE O/L examination centre located at Thurstan
College, Colombo ran short of the New Syllabus Science 11 question paper
with 20 students stranded for half an hour till the required number was
brought from the center at Royal College, Colombo yesterday.
Students at Exam Hall 2 faced this crisis while others who were
served with the question paper engaged themselves with the answer
scripts. The candidates were given the examination paper around 9 am
though the Science 11 paper was due to commence at 8.30 am. However, the
candidates had been given 30 minutes extra time to answer the question
paper. The supervisor had hired a three-wheeler to go to Royal College
to meet the shortage. |
