CWC vows to ensure UPFA victory

Ceylon Workers Congress was behind every victory which the United National Party achieved in the Central Province in the past. However, this political power of ours is solidly behind the United People's Front Alliance this time to ensure a landslide victory for the UPFA, Vice President of the CWC V. Radhakrishnan said.

There are 325,000 Tamil voters in the Central Province and Nuwara-Eliya district alone has approximately 200,000 votes. This entire lot will definitely vote for the candidates placed by the UPFA, he said.

Radhakrishnan further said that his party would field candidate in all three district in the Central Province and also for North Central Province under UPFA in the forth coming Provincial Council elections.
