media persons.
Over 800 quality school bags full of stationery were donated by a
number of institutes including the Dinamina Editorial staff and the
other sections of the Lake House, were handed over to the
schoolchildren.
The schoolchildren in this area were onetime deprived their education
due to various terrorist atrocities.

Jayasundera and his staff guided the Lake House staff to Wahalkada
school from Horowpathana passing 32 kilometers, and was highly
enthusiastic over the philanthropic activity originated Dinamina.
Nation Building Minister S.M. Chandrasena lauded the Dinamina
Staffers and its Chief Editor Mahinda Abeysundara for organising this
benevolent act following the footsteps of veteran journalists such as
late H.S. Perera and Martin Wickremasinghe.
The Minister paid a tribute to late D.R. Wijayawardana for his
endeavours to introduce an independent cluster of multilingual papers. |
