Attorney, children found semi-conscious in hotel

PANADURA: Attorney-at-Law Irani Fonseka of Panadura and her two children were found semi-conscious in a hotel room on Monday.

They were admitted to the Panadura and Colombo South Hospitals. Irani came to the hotel with her two children at Gorakana, Panadura and booked a room. Nothing was heard about them for hours after they entered the room. The hotel management summoned the Panadura North Police who broke open the door.

She had allegedly tried to commit suicide over a domestic issue, police said.
