President meets British PM, UN Secretary General

President Mahinda Rajapaksa and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown were scheduled to meet yesterday in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly sessions.

This meeting was to be followed by bilateral talks between President Rajapaksa and UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.
