Media Minister to head special committee on MiG purchases

Speaker W. J. M. Lokubandara informed Parliament yesterday that Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa was appointed as Chairman of the Special Parliament Committee to probe the matters on allegations of corruption levelled against the Sri Lanka Air Force regarding the purchase of MiG - 27 aircraft from Ukraine.
