Derana launches new website

Viewers no longer have to miss out on their favourite Derana programming with the newly upgraded Derana website enabling users to download programming from anywhere in the world.

Relaunched on August 23, www.derana.lk introduces a whole new dimension to Sri Lankan TV-on-demand.

Derana, Sri Lanka's premium entertainment channel designed the upgraded site as a response to the thousands of migrant Sri Lankans who turn to the internet to view local television programming.

The Derana TV portal will have a repository of two weeks of programming. To access the programmes, the site employs user-friendly drop down menus for faster and more convenient searching.

In addition to watching their favourite programmes, viewers can also view or download the latest programme schedules, learn a bit about the current programmes on Derana and watch the latest music videos.

The site is fully interactive with a community blog for Derana viewers.

Users can also send in their feedback through a feedback form hosted on the site.
