A bomb had been
exploded in the Olcott Mawatha, Pettah in Colombo around 12.15 p.m
today, 30 August.
The Director of the
National hospital Colombo, Dr Hector Weerasinha said that 45 people
suffered injuries were admitted to the hospital. Few of the victims who
suffered severe injuries were already taken for immediate surgeries.
Three females and two children were among the victims suffered injuries,
hospital sources added.

An Explosion occurred in Pettah; 35 wounded
An explosion reported near the Bodirajaramaya Temple in Pettah, Colombo
short while ago, 30 August.
According to the
available information the explosion occurred around 12.15 p.m. this
afternoon. The National hospital sources said that 35 people suffered
injuries were so far admitted to the hospital.
