Govt. rejects LTTE ceasefire offer

Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama told Parliament yesterday that the Government would not enter into any agreement with the LTTE although they have declared a unilateral ceasefire during the period of the SAARC summit.

Madhu statue conveyed to Mannar

The reverend Statue of Our Lady of Madhu was conveyed to the cleared area of Mannar by Catholic church officials yesterday. The statue was earlier conveyed to an uncleared area before the Security Forces liberated the Madhu area.

22 Black Tigers killed in Air Force attack
