Ranil calls on Maha Nayake Thera

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe who visited Kandy to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic, called on the Most Ven. Thibbotuwawe Sri Siddharatha Sumangala Maha Nayaka Thera of the Malwatte Chapter for a private audience.

The discussion continued for nearly an hour.

The Opposition Leader whilst leaving the premises declined to answer a question posed by journalists on the North Central Province and Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council elections.
