Teaching posts for 1,287 graduates - Hisbullah

The Mahinda Chintana will be strengthened with 1,287 new teaching appointments to the unemployed graduates in the East by July 15. This was disclosed by the Eastern Provincial Council Cabinet Spokesman and the Minister M. L. A. M. Hisbullah.

He said that he has received numerous representations from the unemployed graduates, requesting him to take necessary steps to find them employment in the state service. The provision of appointments to those graduates being delayed although there are about 2,000 graduates in the East and they are facing immense difficulties in making good for their livelihood as they are unemployed.

I also intend to fill up all vacancies existing in the East specifically in the Health sector as I am the Minister of Health. It's my bounden duty to serve the people of all sections irrespective of caste, creed and religion, as I was elected by a majority of all, three communities.
